What this program does

This program helps provide opportunities for Youth Leaders (13 – 18 years old) to volunteer in their communities.

Various volunteer responsibilities would include set up, clean up, snack prep, and leading of activities. Responsibilities assist youth to develop their communication skills, time management, team work, problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Training, support and mentorship is provided as well community involvement hours are tracked.

How this program works

Youth Leaders sign up online or in person. Afterwards, they are connected with a program in need of a youth volunteer. They will be given a program mentor to provide training and support throughout this process. Volunteer hours are tracked and most are applicable towards the required high school community service hours.
