Chiropody Program

Chiropody is the study, management and prevention of disease and disorders of the foot. In other words, if you are having problems with your feet, or you have a disease that may lead to problems with your feet (like diabetes, for example), then this clinic is for you. 

In partnership with Sandy Hill Community Health Centre, our Chiropody program offers foot health services for registered clients of Country Roads Community Health Centre.  

How our the program works

The regional Chiropody program offers the following foot health services:

  • Diabetic foot care

  • Diabetic foot screening

  • Treatment of nail and skin disorders of the foot

  • Biomechanical and gait analysis

  • Production of custom-made foot orthotics

  • Treatment of ingrown nails

  • Wound care and general treatment of soft tissue injuries of the foot

How to access the program

Registered clients of Country Roads Community Health Centre who need specialized foot care can be referred to our chiropodist by their primary care provider. For more information, please speak with a member of our reception team.
